Fist of all, a big THANK YOU to you all for these demos, and for your endless generosity.
Guy's composition was so immersive, that I couldn't focus on the fact that it was VI. Maybe that's what the Cube is supposed to do. It's always nice to hear how capable this collection is in terms of selling the listener. There were a couple of spots I dare mention where the reverb took center stage and pulled me away from the musical adventure momentarily, but I'm not convinced that this is necessarily a problem. I'll listen to this several more times. But I must say, the track pulled me in from the start and held me throughout. What a tremendous accomplishment!! Bravo.
Beat-- I always admire your taste and savvy in earlier musical styles. Very nicely done and a joy to hear the variations. I'm curious: did you totally reprogram the notes and keyswitches for each take, or were you able to just swap out the instruments? If so, can you tell us anything about the adjustments you made for each version?
Bravo, and thanks again.
