Alright, so I am wanting to take an existing project that was done before obtaining MirPro3D in stereo...to a MirPro3D mix. However, I can't seem to find a way to easily convert a VePro instance into a surround instance instead of stereo. I can see a way to start a new instance as 7.1.4, but I already have my saved frame file with 100 channels....it was saved previously as stereo...so I can't seem to find a way to either convert it to a surround version or to load it as a surround version. Presumably this would need to happen BEFORE loading in there viframe into the instance because as it loads in MirPro3D on each channel it needs to do so letting MirPro3D itself know its dealing with surround at that time...as Dietz has said its bad to start out stereo and later go to surround, but ok to start out surround and later only use stereo...
Is there a way?
From the DAW side I can easily convert the LogicPro project from stereo to 7.1.4 surround. But when I insert VePro plugin on a surround instrument channel and try to connect to VePro with a new instance, it gets setup as stereo also, not surround.
So anyway, I really can't figure out how to create an actual 3D instance in VePro and MIrPro3D other then creating a brand new VePro instance using the "new Project" icon on the task bar and choosing 7.1.4 format for it. Is there some other way in order to easily convert an existing stereo project to surround?
