Last week Friday I saw the movie Underworld, and in the middle of the movie, being the complete sample whore that I am, I instantly recognized VSL samples. (my ears tend to tune into the most idiomatic "production" or "musical" things during movies)
anyhow, during the credits one realises that the whole movie is programmed with VSL and Spectrasonics.
So uh..
congrats Herb and the VSL team for getting your library exclusively used on a fairly "major" release, that ended up being the #1 movie in America for this week (for whatever that means [;)] )
So we're here now. Major movies being done by sampled orchestras, good thing? Bad thing? I dunno. To me its the music that matters anyway.
I'll save my opinions on the movie for arguing with my ex girlfriend.
Wisemen likes his guns, and can always do something cool with them in the frame. I'm a bit mad that he's made all my trenchcoats even MORE unwearable AFTER the Matrix... [:P]
