Hello!
François, the updated "VE Strings" sound set for the SYNCHRON-ized Chamber Strings will be available in a few days.
Bill, please choose from "All Instruments" in the Sibelius "Add or Remove Instruments" menu. Then "[VSL Synchron Strings]" should show up.
Best regards,
Andi
OK, got it. But shouldn't they show up under Orchestral instruments too?
That's what I requested VSL to include Synchron strings in the category in a future update, as ALL the other VSL instruments are included in the "Orchestral Instruments" category, but VSL never responded...
Hello!
François, the updated "VE Strings" sound set for the SYNCHRON-ized Chamber Strings is now available with VSL Soundset Installer version 1.0.137.
Bill and mobileavatar, [VSL Synchron Strings] are now included in the "Orchestral instruments" group of the Sibelius "Add or Remove Instruments" menu as well.

Best,
Andi
Thank you Andi, just installed it.
But... now, VE Pro crashes when I play music with Sibelius : I just changed the patches in the Synchron Player (Synchron Strings > Synchron-ized chamber Strings). I think there is nothging to change in Sibelius.
I can play several notes, sometimes one or two minutes, and suddenly, VE Pro crashes.
Please send the crash report where the latest Synchron Player version has already been installed with a reference to this thread to support@vsl.co.at. You have written that this happens during playback. Please add information if it crashes instantly when you start playback or not, and if slots get enabled during playback because of MIDI activity.
Best,
Andi
