Impressive Gentlemen.
Guy,
Wonderful use of sound colour in your three pieces. Interesting that as a former orchestral W/W player (Clarinet, Bass Clarinet) i listened closely to the Caper, and found myself emulating the runs and glisses you used very well! Memories, lol.
Jay,
again i find myself compelled to enjoy another of your performances. Like Guy, i enjoy listening to the Danse Profane regularly, and you captured that ethereal tonal spirit very well indeed. I've mentioned before my repsect for your abilities, and i confirm that now.
Christian, wonderful piece. 'Sleigh Bell' music can get terrible cliched, and you not only avoided this, but injected a fresh sound into a somewhat overdone genre. It's my opinion you have a sure and steady hand in orchestrative technique, and it shows.
My compliments and respects to the three of you,
Alex.
