10.16.7 here with Cubase 12 activated with new Steinberg license and VEP7.0.1120, still eLicenser. Working fine. Thought maybe it could be C12. Just to let you know.

seems like a small but annoying bug in the user interface: The "connect" button doesn't work, but a _double click_ on the instance (or "new") works :-)

i'm actually on macOs 11.6.5. i'm using iLok Cloud for the VE Pro license, it worked fine. and the VE Pro Server (7.1.1226) software is working fine too, it just that i can't connect to VE Pro Server from DAW. the connect button doesn't do anything. except if i open an old DAW project that has a VE Pro on it, than it can automatically connect.
i'm back to VE Pro (7.0.1120) for now and it's working fine, but back to using elicenser usb.

Just try a double click on "new" or the instance in question 😊
