As mentioned below, I’d need more than 30 days,
as the learning curve is very steep.
I did look at many of the videos. They are wonderful
but the product.
Because the product is complex it takes me forever to try to
reproduce what I see. Only to discover that, at least for my level of understanding,
it is chicken and egg situation.
To wit, I cannot try things in the tutorial videos until I buy the various components.
I trust you see my predicament.
I am even considering taking the 7 months online class to gain an understanding.
That is, before buying any more samples altogether.
I am also torn between trading the relative ease of use of the Synchron libraries versus
the building potential of one’s sound, given by dry samples. Which is where my question began.
I enjoy vocal music and am looking for church IRs.
My immediate goal is to emulate music I like, in order to learn
how to build a palette (and have a reference for in recorded performances)
and then move to pieces of my own.
One of my ideal spaces would be, for example, Hagia Sophia.
