Elicenser can't establish internet connection?

Hello,

I"m having a problem downloading SE Brass Volume 1. Every time I enter the activation code Elicenser says it can't establish a connection with my internet, despite the fact that my wifi is working perfectly. I've tried multiple times, and have:

• Uploaded Elicenser to the latest version
• Closed all other applications
• Cleaned up the memory on my usb licenser
• Conducted Maintenence
• Rebooted my computer

Is the Elicenser software just down or is something wrong on my end?

Elicenser is not affiliated with VSL.  I think it's a Steinberg entity? 

Did you try talking to Steinberg Support?

i noticed slow connectivity to the steinberg servers yesterday - maybe you give it another try ...

I actually figured out the problem by looking at Steinberg's site (thanks to Jasensmith).

For mac OSX, Elicenser doesn't work if there's an active proxy. I didn't realize mine was still on, and disabling it did the trick!
