Hi Andi,
Your response leaves me confused.
"I personally would use the Solo Voices without Velocity X-Fade and only turn it on temporarily with a MIDI command, when I need it. That's why the VI presets are saved with Velocity X-Fade turned off. CC11 is already assigned to Velocity X-Fade and CC12 is assigned to Expression. You can leave it like that regardless if you want to use Velocity X-Fade or not."
I just freshly loaded the Soprano solo voice preset, and the Velocity X-Fade is assigned to CC2 and Expression to CC11. Assigning CC11 to Expression is the norm for Sibelius, so I don't know if the preset was adjusted for Sibelius, or if the presets are different from what you stated?
If I load the Choir soprano preset, Expression is assigned to CC11 as well, and Velocity X-Fade is not assigned at all. Do you recommend not using Velocity X-Fade for choir voices as well?
Thanks as always for your help,
Randall
