The Audio In / Out -feature is actually pretty straight-forward, once you have grasped the underlying concept. You will have to instantiate a "VE Pro Audio Input" plugin on any channel of your DAW, this will take any audio signal from this point and route it to the assigned input of VE Pro (which has to be opened in "Server Mode" as a Virtual Instrument. There you can do with the signal whatever you want to - route it into MIR Pro, apply any kinmd of processing, and/or mix it with other signals.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the signal won't come back on the original channel, but rather on VE Pro's output channels.
