Hi there - I purchased Vienna Pro when it came out and it's been working great ever since. But this morning when I loaded it up on my Slave machine and then opened my metaframe, I got a message saying my vienna pro license will expire soon! 50 more opens! I opened the elisencor to check and my licence is there. I even hit 'recover' and it says there are no problems. What could be causing this? This never happed before. I shut down and loaded again and the expiration notice didn't come up the second time.. Is this a glitch? Has me a little spooked since I'm always on deadlines. I'm using the latest build (6853).

Hi Paul - Yep its there. It says: Collection License / Application Instances: 1 / Vienna Instrument / Vienna Ensemble 3 Tonight after my host crashed - the slave wigged out and now says only 25 starts! Please help! If for some reason I can't open Vienna I'm totally screwed. I have so many projects on the line. thanks so much!

Well thats what it says.. Ok I'm officially confused then. I purchased Vienna Ensemble PRO in Janurary. So why does my elisencor say Vienna Ensemble 3? I activated it with the codes that were sent to me when I purchased it. When I purchased it, I got an email that said: Thank you for purchasing at the Vienna Symphonic Library Online Store! Vienna Ensemble PRO (Then Below 3 activation code licenses). I used these codes on my 2 slaves and haven't had a problem at all this year until recently. I use it every day. The only thing I changed is updating the latest builds of Vienna Ensemble when it comes out. Also - the message doesn't come up every time, but its unnerving when it does. On my second slave (haven't had any problems with that one) which has the Vienna Key I used the activation code. When I open the elisensor it shows the little silver keys and says (Vienna Ensemble 3) Isn't this it? I honestly think this is some kind of bug but I'll send screenshots to confirm

But my user registration page on the VSL site lists:
Is this correct? Will I be in trouble at some point?
I have the original sales receipt that lists:
YET -- the serial numbers that were emailed from Ilio are for "Vienna Ensemble 3"
And in my user account, I am licensed for
Since I use VE Pro every day without any issue, I just assumed this was a terminology mixup that you guys know about. Hope so.... ????

PS -- maybe a future product will not contain the word "Pro" ? You could name it after an animal (apple) or a river (intel chips) or something other than "pro". :-)

I also have Vienna Ensemble 3 showing up in eLCC after using the codes for VE Pro and downloading the permanent license. I was told by VSL that this was correct when I bought VE Pro this spring.
However, I also had license problems a week ago. Suddenly I was told that my license for VE Pro had expired (although it was showing up correct in eLCC). If I tried to download the permanent license again with the first code I was told this code was already used.
I did not have time to fiddle with this so I just used the second license code and now it works.
It seems to be a glitch with eLcc at the moment that you might want to look into.

Sorry for the confusion!
VE3 license = VE PRO license, for some reason this was not updated in the eLCC, yet, should be changed very soon.
Albert, please try to click "Recover" in your eLCC; that should resolve all problems with pending licenses!

I just received your mail via support.
You are right, you "only" have VE PRO registered, and this includes VI PRO - we will change this with the next version of VE PRO, available in the next days (it will open without VI PRO instantiated).
Regarding your demo licenses: There´s nothing to be afraid of, you have the full licenses of all your poducts.

Hi I am running VE Pro with a full license but i have been getting remaining starts messages appear on the screen at start up. I am using the latest version of VE Pro (v4.1.6853) and the latest eLCC - 6.0.2.7036. I am concerned that i only have a few starts remaining when i purchase full licenses which have been downloaded - I have tried the revery option in eLCC but it returns with an everything is fine message. When i try to re load the activation code it won't allow me to as it is "already in use". Also it refers to Vienna Ensemble 3 and not VE Pro which is what i purchased and am running. This scenario happens on both my master and slave computers referencing all VSL products. Hope you can help soon as i use this every day and need to be sure this will be up and running in a couple of days. Many thanks
