Just to clarify, I meant the show sucked, not the music! I'm mad because I didn't see this thread beforehand. I would've liked to listen!
I guess I don't come across too clearly sometimes.
Incidentally, I never say anyone's music sucks. People spend hours making it, and anyone who says such things about other peoples' music can only be doing it to feel better about their own. And if they have to do that, their own music must REALLY suck.
I try giving constructive criticism: X could be done better, Y sounds good...
Funny.. I have no problem saying a TV show sucks though.. LOL

Thanks guys! The TV version was really cut down from the DVD. ProTools came in very handy in editing the whole score down to the 22 minute TV version. A lot of great VSL sounds got left out of the TV version, so if you've got kids, get them the DVD (It's kinda hard to sit through as an adult...)!

I was given a total of 4 weeks to write, record live instruments, mix 44 minutes of music, and cut down the DVD version to a 22 minute TV version. That's a lot of time these days - but with animation, it's a little different. I would get rough pencil/wireframe animation sent to me at least twice a week. Since the final animation would invariably differ from the rough version, I'd have to add/change a lot of things to conform to picture. I think at the very end I had amassed about 20 videotapes worth of version changes.
