stephen, as far as i can see you have purchased special edition standard + extended.
whereas the serial number for the standard library is on the bottom of the cardboard box, the serialnumber for extended (certificate) should have come either as printed sheet or heve been emailed to you as pdf.
having both serial numbers and entering them in one run on the vienna instruments registration page issues a single activation code for the full library. entering one after the other issues seperate activation codes (usually an option for those who upgrade later)

probably activation is a little bit more complicated at first, but IMO everything related to changing computers or moving libraries to other computers (or running it on a notebook now and then) is much easier and failure tolerant than de-authorize and re-authorize directly on a computer.
