HI.
Just getting started with VI VSL on Mac Pro (3gb RAM, 2.66Ghz)... I have run into some problems:
1) After quitting Logic, when having used a VSL instrument, the engine doesn't seem to shut down properly, and Logic hangs on next restart. I took a look in the activity monitor and it looks like this:
VSL-Server Real mem: 50MB, Virtual mem 429MB
vsldaemon (Not Responding) Real Meme: 6MB, Virtual mem: 293MB.
Two VSL "daemons" still being active, one of them hanging. I don't know if VSL-server (taking up 50mb of real mem and several 100 virtual!) is supposed to be running all the time?
2) I get a click in my sound about every 1-2 minutes. Reminds me of the good old GigaStudio 2.5 on Windows 98 days.
I realize that this is still in beta, but I wanted to chime in with this. Especially the thing about Logic hanging when restarting is quite a big issue here.
