Looking forward to this. VEP is such a great piece of software and I really do appreciate it every day - keep up the good work.

In a perfect world, the update would allow me to hit the space bar in VEP and have it start playback in Logic.
And VEP would not require an extra mouse-click to open the Instrument pane.
These are two long, long-standing issues with my favorite software.
oh yeah! #metoo

Any updates on the timeframe for this? I would loooove to be able to update all my Kontakt 7 instances to 8 automatically 😃

I would really like to see a Mute and Solo defeat button in VEP. Not too much to ask for, surely.

I'm referring to a long-standing bug that VSL has acknowledged. The Instrument pane does not open until the channel gets an extra click. F4 will not work in this regard, and unfortunately the preference you mention has no effect.

Simon, I have VEP running in the background on my M2 Ultra Mac Studio and it is running perfectly!

It's not running perfectly for me. X-posting from VI-C:
The dropouts on the background are very noticeable when hosting VSL Synchron Player in VEPro on the background (only in Apple Silicon, I never recall experiencing these issues in my old iMac). I have not noticed as many dropouts in Kontakt or SINE instruments. BTW, you can check the Synchron Player's built-in performance meter and switch from foreground to background to see the impact. When VEPro is on the background, the "red" (system) takes most of the space, whereas on the foreground, it's the "blue" (user). This is very obvious in CPU intensive instruments, for example those using time stretching, such as the Main/Low/high percussion riffs in Synchron Percussion, as it reaches 100% and causes the dropouts. Increasing the buffer only helps so slightly and the number of threads has no impact at all. It's sooooo annoying that I am even considering using my M1 Max for Logic and keeping the M2 Ultra just for VEPro, so that it can stay on the foreground. I hate the idea of having to move back to two computers ... but if VSL does not release a fix I am not sure what else to do.
