  • Hi katzzz,

I just sent you download links with wetransfer to your registered email address, that will work.

Our library files are torrent files, those will be much faster.

  • Be sure to download to a SSD; I've found it makes a big difference.

  • I have the same problem. Slight precision in my case: library downloads are acceptable at +/- 2mb/s. Just the software downloads are unbearably slow. Average 45kb/s.

I did have one day when it went fine, at +/- 1.5Mb/s. I suspect the torrent protocol may not be exactly suitable for software distribution...

It's a shame really, as i actually like the Vienna assistant software.

  • Hi, I'm from Japan and also I have the same problem.

In my case, I tried to DL Vienna Ensemble 7 (ver 7.3.3388) any number of times via Vienna Assistant (of course  the newest version) and always got network error (roughly it always stops at about 80% to 90%) in the end.

Can you send me a link to download it for sure?

And I have the other question; Is it possible to download from the continuation of the disconnect, or if not currently possible, could you update the application so that it can be done in the future?

I think many applications from other companies (not just music content) seem to be able to do this.

If this could be done, I think it would further improve the usability of the application.

I also love and use VSL's content, so it would be great if you would consider this.

    Regards

  • Hi there,

I'm having terrible problems reverting to MIR Pro 3D 3325 MAC I can only get 17KB/s from VSL - it's goiung to take 5 hours to download 280mb - I am really regrtting upgrading.

I have to revert because MIRacle presets are messed up running 3636 - recall presets with 50% modulation - turning the mix into a psychadelic modulated nightmare.

    Bummer.

  • Hi Christian,

Sorry to hear about these troubles.

Just sent you a link via PM that provides you with an alternative link to the Mac version of 3325.

  • I'll add to the Southern Hemisphere problem - I'm in Australia and have been downloading Synchron Prime, Synchron Brass and Synchron Woodwinds for about 28 hours.

The max speed has been 1.1 Mbps. Not really nice, with EastWest [the only other sizeable downloads I make] I usually get up to 8Mbps.

I do hope that VSL can improve their download speeds for us far away users 😊

    Just a beginner
  • Hi rAC,

We're discussing a few solutions here, hope we can get those in place soon.

Thanks for your patience, I know it's hard to wait for those nice sounds.

  • Hello!

I'm facing the same issues. First time it took me like three actual days to download the purchase. I thought "well, maybe it's local issue or time of the year", but now I have the very same problem.

No other lib has the same issues. Why is there no solution still?

Is there any option to overcome this problem? It takes ages to download a single lib.
