Hi everyone,
... more bad news:
This week came my new Apple Mac Mini with M1 chipset. It was brand-new out of the box and immediately, I installed VEPRO 7, VI Pro 2, the Synchron Player and a couple of VSL libraries.
Again, I tried to install the Vienna Suite Pro, but without success! It was the same scenario, I experienced with with my MacBook Pro (also M1).
After the license agreement, the installer jumps to customized installation by its own and informs you VST, VST3 and AU plugins will be installed with 0 kB. !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Please, have a look to the attachment.
It is not possible to install Vienna Suite Pro on Big Sur with a M1 chipset, absolutly NOT! It would be a good idea to give this hint to your customers on the product page! Otherwise, they end up like me with a purchase, they canโt use. (260โฌ is nearly MirPro24)
My advice to VSL: Buy a Mac with a M1 chipset and start testing, so you can prove it by yourself! ๐๐
Best, Gunter
