    I'm using VE in stand alone or with protools 2020 or ableton live 9, each time i'm trying to save my project on VE 6.5 it crashes, and make also my daw crash, the message is : vienna ensemble unexpectedely quit. I'm working on macbook pro 2.2 i7 OS 10.12.6. I can get any answer from VSL team and im in the middle of a project.

    I found the solution.  opening synchron player as a plug in  in a track on VE prevent from saving your session and provide a crash. Your first track has to be a Vienna instrument, and the the others synchron players, and then magic ! no more crash when saving !

    That's a very unusual finding... Could you please send the crash reports you get to support@vsl.co.at?
    Which 3rd party plug-ins are involved?

    Here the same issue.

    I am able to open previously saved projects, but If I save a new one, VEP standalone o server crash when opening. It shows a message when crash.

    Hi Paul, thanks for the reply:

    I've sent to support@vsl.co.at an email with more information. I still have the problem. Unable to work with VEP.

    Mac mini 2018. I7. 64gb ram. OSX 10.15.7. It happen in VEP and VEPsever.

    I can create a new project or open and old one, but if I save any of them, they will crash.

    I don't know if you still have the issue. I´ve found that if I use my Native instrument "Komplete audio 6" sound card, it will crash but if I change it and use the internal audio card of my Mac mini it works: with other cheap card I've got it works too. So It's is something related the card.

    There is another strange behavior. The first time I open the file it opens normaly, but the next time it doesn't. If I restart the computer it will work again the first time. 

    If I open the file inside VEP it works (with any sound card), but if I open it from other location e.x. desktop, it doesn't work with Komplete audio

    If I may ask this bluntly: What speaks against switching to another soundcard if that works ok?

    I just tried to find your support ticket, but could only find 3 sales-related cases connected with your registered address - what is the ticket number you received when you send us that email?
