Hi GP,
Thanks. How about that workaround?

Hi,
Quick update, this is solved now with the new Synchron Player Update!
Best,
Paul
Hi Paul!
Unfortunately, this version has the same bug for me, it crashes immediately as MIDI notes are sent, either via keyboard or a pre-existing track. Just FYI 😊 - I have been using the Ensemble for now and Syncrhon works great within it. Looking forward to PRO 7! 😊
Best wishes,
GP
Hi there,
I encounter the same issue as GP1:
Synchron Player 1.1.1621 crashes (in) Cubase Pro 10.0.20 performed by WIN 10.0.17134 all the time, as soon as any midi note is triggered for the synchron player (the smart orchestra in particular). I do not have any keyboard connected. But this is for working with the synchron player not necessary as far as I know, is it?
In addition I've noticed that in some rare cases for some strange reasons the synchron player doesn't crash and works fine after quite a while (ca. 10 minutes?) if left alone after initial loading for quite some time.
I'd really appriciate a soon fix of this bug, because I'm considering to get the Special Edition Crossgrades. But if the synchron player doesn't work properly this Crossgrade would be worthless.
Thank you very much! You do a fantastic job, so I'm really confident that you will find a solution to our problem.
Best regards
Hey,
Thanks for your patience - did anything change for you with the latest version of Synchron Player (1.1.1657)?
If not, please send a crashdump file and/or Minidumpfiles (WIN) to:
support@vsl.co.at
With these additional informations our developers can look into the issue here again!
To find more out about Minidumpfiles I will attach a link:

Hi all,
I am facing the same problem. Cubase Pro 10.0.40 crashes immediately as soon as I play a note on Synchron Player (Windows, VST2 or VST3, build 1.1.1709, running BBO). It happens on my laptop as well as on the PC. Both with WIn7 Pro.
Using BBO with standalone Synchron Player works perfectly (and sounds just great!).
Is there any solution? Thanks for any hint!
Best regards
Hi,
Thanks for reporting. It would be great to get the crash dump or mini dump files, as requested by Johannes Kirsch...
Quick note: Please add the actual version numbers you are using. It is very common that you THINK you have the latest versions installed, when actually you don't. We know from experience :-)
Best,
Paul
Hy Paul ! We had a chat yesterday afternoon. The guy with the small 13 Mac Book Pro... :-) The Problem was not OSX, to solve the problem i just increased the sample Rate of the UAD Apollo to 2048 in Audio Preferences under Cubase. Now the Synchron Player works fine under Cubase 10.5. No Problems ! Thank You !! Greetings Mario
Hi Mario,
Great. thanks for the Update.
2048 is a pretty high buffer, but you could work with less mics in the writing process and activate more mics on mix-down. That's one of the reasons why we included the Room-Mix Channel.
Best,
Paul
