If you're only using one VEP server (on a slave machine)..and not running the actual VEP server on your DAW machine, then just move the VEP7 license to the dongle that is on your slave machine. You should be good to go.
That is incorrect. Please read Paul's confirmations above. This was the subject of my original post. Even if you only need one server computer, you still need a second license on the computer running your sequencer in order to be able to connect to that server. You can't connect to a VEP 7 server with a computer running a VEP 6 license.
No. You only need a license where the servers are running. You do not need a server running on your DAW machine unless you will host plugins there in addition to slave machines, then you would need another license. The VEP plugin does not require a license.
