  • Some inconsistencies I do not understand in the synchronized Upgrade Prizes

I do have the Superpackage which means simply everything for VI.

    But:

    1) For the standard Library "Synchron Dimension Brass I" whcih is also called  "synchronized Dimension Brass I" meanwhile it is announced on the same page there is no upgrade Prize displayed for me at all . Even when I am logged in.  (Obviously something does not work as it should)

While there is an upgrade for me from standard to the obviously new Full VI Dimension Brass. "€ 195"

    2) While for the standard "Synchron Dimension Brass II" whcih is also called  "synchronized Dimension Brass II"there is an upgrade prize displayed for me "€ 195"

There is also an upgrade for me from standard to the obviously new Full VI Dimension Brass. "€ 195"

    3) While I do have all other Synchron-Libraries, and the new Synchron(-nized) are presented in their Productpage as part of the Synchron Package, there is no Synchron-Package-Price for me which respects the products I already have and give me the package price of what I need to complete the package.

But there is an upgrade for me for the VI-Full-Superpackage "€ 273"

There is for each synchro-nized Dimension Brass an upgreade-Price for 35€ for Owners of the extended Library announced, what would make

€343 without any further Synchron Package reduction, when one buys the synchronized Dim-Brass I+II after completing the VI-Superpackage , what nevertheless ignores that owners of all other Libraries of a package should expect their 20% rebate, as the VI-Siperpackage-Owners get their rebate from the first Moment on. , what would make 55€ instead of 70€ (2x35€) together with the completion of the VI Superpackage 328€.

To sum up it seems to me that there are stil some at least irritating inconsistencies, for which a "work around" might be to complete the VI-Super-Package before upgrading to synchronized Brass I+II,

While again the price policy does not seem to respect the exsiting owners of all other Synchron-Package-Libraries since they do not have any notable "Introductory Upgrade reduction" at all, (exactly 2 €!) if the Products will be not included in the Superpackage-Pricereduction not befor the Releas-rebates are out.

    Just a few suggestion:

    a) Correct inconsistencies in the Prices displayed for registered Users

    b) Include Superpackage Products in the Superpackage without any delay

    c) Offer a VSL-Superpackage incloding both Product lines  just to make sure, that your most loyal users are respected and treated as the most loyal user they are..

  • Hi, you see the right (Basket-)price AFTER you put all products IN THE BASKET (zuerst das Superpackage, dann die beiden Synchron Upgrades.) @VSL ... da würde ich wieder den „berühmten Orangen Text“ nutzen um das klarer zu definieren. Steffen, I told you last year to buy a hell of vouchers. BTW ... did you notice the unknown product in the Screenshot (Power Drums)? ... Taikos are coming!:) ... and this is great @VSL! Synchron gets REALLY interesting now! Best, Mr. J.

  • One word to your last point…I agree that a „Vienna GIGA-Package“ which includes both productlines makes sense.

  • Steffen, I think the misunderstanding is that the SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass I Collection includes all the articulations of the Full Library (= Standard and Extended  Library) of Vienna Dimension Brass I. The same goes for SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass II.

So your special super price - for long-term customers like you - for completing your VI Super Package with Vienna Dimension Brass I and II is € 273, which is € 136 per library and therefore 30% (thirty percent!!) lower than the reduced introductory price of € 195 per Collection. In addition to that, you can crossgrade to SYNCHON-ized Dimension Brass I for €35 per library. All this sounds pretty inexpensive to me.

As I said in another post, for customers who don’t have any Vienna Dimension Brass products: SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass I & II will be part of the Synchron Package starting December 1, after the introductory period. You may complete your Synchron Package then to get the new libraries (at a discount of roughly 17%), but you're far better off when you purchase them during the introductory period through November 30 at a discount of roughly 28%.

On the product page there’s a line just above SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass I & II, indicating that these products are currently not part of the Synchron Pacakge, and it doesn’t say so anywhere.

It’s different with Vienna Dimension Brass I & II. Both libraries are currently included in the VI Super Package, as you see from complementary discounts, and since we’re technically adding Extended Libraries to both Collections, making them Full Libraries, these Collections are included in the Super Package as always – they’re just getting articulation extensions.

    Cheers, Martin

  • OK I noticed that my first hint has already been helpful, since now for both Sy-nized Dim.Brass the upgrade prices are displayed correctly.

You are right that after all it would not make much sens to discuss about a few € more or less so I also dont want to insist.

Still I like the "Package" Idea to have just one button to keep the "package" complete for those who are loyal and also like it to always pay at least some tribute to those customers who are loyal. In so far it might appear a bit complicated to see two parrallel libraries sold in to completly different ways.

If we would have had just a button like " Hi loyal user, I know all what you want and will keep your package complete with the price you deserve" at least for those (I expect not so large amount (but still impressive in comparison to other competitors) who are loyal users things would be as easy as fair and still challenging for all who are not that far away from being "complete".

Finally I still want to mention my apreciation for including Dimension-Libraries in the Synchron-Player-Line and I hope we will see the Dimension Strings following (to finally make the customizable sectionsize of Dimension-Libraries or for instance the incredible detailed sampled option to chose the string which is played more usable as it has been before in the VI).

Nevertheless I also hope we will see other original Synchron-Libraries to be released to complete a full original Synchron-Orchestras. So tkeep in mind what produces a loyal user and hold on: we have got good quality products until to day so we expect nothing less than more good quality products to come. ;-)

  • Let's see if I have this straight.  I own DB1 standard library.  I can upgrad to the full library for â‚¬195 or to the Synchron for the same price where I would get the additional articulations.  The added articulations I would get for the trumpets, horns, and trombnes are:

    Portato long, soft and loud

Light cresc and dim 1/2/3 sec

    Glissano

    That's it?
