    Im trying to install Vsl om my new macbook. I have the Special edition strings 1 and plus. When i run the library installer i get an error saying i need a basic strings license. Ive check on the elicenser there is a Se strings vol 1 licence. No basic string.. any help?

    Basic ?

    There have been several recent name and format changes, but I like you, don't recall "basic".

    Hi massynrt,

    I checked your key, it contains the licenses for your registerd products.

    Please make sure that you update your eLCC software and VSL Software.

    It´s also important to use the latest Download Manager (available in your User Area, next to your Download Files).

    Download Manager, not the library...

    I dont understand why I would need to download manager. I've installed the newest vienna instruments for MAC. And I use the library installer that was installed by Vienna Instruments. I have the latest Elicenser .. This is the error i'm getting.. The following licenses are needed to install this package: SE Strings Basic * Also please make sure that you are using the latest eLicenser Control Center available at www.elicenser.net, and the latest VSL software available in the User Area at www.vsl.co.at.

    Hello massynrt, 

    The Library Installer is available with the latest software. 

    AND it is also included with the Download Manager. 

    => In order to install your collection with the Library Installer from within the Download Manager, you need the latest version of the Download Manager, otherwise your licenses won´t be recognized correctly. 

    Alternatively, you can also launch the Library Installer from "Applications"/ "Programs" => "Vienna Instruments" and point it to the package.info file you find in the files you downloaded with the Download Manager (you have downloaded the installation files to a location of your choice).

    I have downloaded the library in the past. Must I download it again? I have the latest download manager.. but I don't want to download anything.. I just want to install my previous downloaded library. I get the error when I try to install the library with LIBRARY INSTALLER..

    Hi massynrt, 

    Are you sure that you are using the Library installer of the very latest Vienna Instruments (with the updated license database)?
