Yes, it happens even with a new arrangement. My Cubase version is 6.5.1, build 117. I can reproduce the crash easily (Cubase 64 bit this time):

- Create a new project.

- Create an instrument track with VI Pro 2.2.10738

- Load a matrix, for example VI-Pro Matrices->Orchestral Strings->Violins Orchestra->SE VI-14 01_basic

- Activate / load "sus" cell.

- Turn on the reverb button

- Play some notes

- While notes still sounding, turn off the reverb

If not happening the first time, just keep trying turning the reverb on and off a few times. I did it while I was typing the steps and crashed it the second time I switched the reverb button off.

Yes.

I use Logic 9.1.7.

It happens once in a while, too often, causing Logic to crash.  I've tried it without and with patches loaded, and it may crash either way.

I'd much prefer the default for the reverb to be OFF, since I mainly use VSL reverb on busess with Logic.

 If you prefer the default to be off, just set it to be off in your startup Preset, and you will never have to switch it off again..

Well, yes.  But that's the problem.  Anytime I push Reverb to OFF in VI Pro 2, it may or may not crash the DAW, Cubase or Logic.

Do you know of a Global setting for VI Pro 2 itself?
