So we're talking about VE standalone?
Does it receive the MIDI? Have you set the correct MIDI input device?
Do you see in the GUI that there is audio produced?

Yes, I tried to produce sound by using the Standalone, not the VST plugin ...
And yes it receive MIDI data - but this isn't the problem ...
I click some keys on the VE-Keyboard and then you can see peaks in the "eye", the velocity ...
So, sound is generated but I can't here it.
To MIDI: Currently I didn't try to use this, I try to hear s o m e noise by clicking directly on the VE-Keyboard.

Right!
Every tone that should can be generated makes two non-closed "rings" ...The outer one is blue, the inner one is green.
Every tone out of the instrument's range has only the green inner ring (because there is only the MIDI signal but no tone to generate).
Yes, it's all like it should be, but no sound *grrrr* ...

Ok, this I said in my first post.
I have all aout devices tested - more than one time.
Nothing changed (excepted that after checking points with "Windows Audio: " the VE-Keyboard didn't recognize any clicks and this at any instruments; even I changed the output device to another; I had to restart VE).

Erm ... I have know tested it on another PC (installed VE 4 + eLicenser ControllCenter; Win7, SP1) and after a little bit switching between the output devices ..... ..... it was running there *grrrrrrrrrrrrr* [:@]
Why not at my PC (with the same soft configuration)?!?!?! ... Like I said before: VE2 and VI 2 + 4 are running successfully ...

Hi,
Did you try with www.asio4all.com, this will provide an ASIO driver for your PC, which is necessary to make VE (PRO) work. I hope I haven´t missed that part anywhere in the ongoing discussion with DG (thanks, btw!).
Best,
Paul
