I have the Flute 2 download library but it doesn't show my discount for the extended library even though I'm logged in as myself. Is there something missing from a database?

Hi Jim,
the pricing of the extended content is based exclusive on the new samples.
And as you can see the Full library is a summary of the standard and extended price.
Therefor there can't be any upgrade discount to extended.

Thanks so much Herb, and everyone else in VSL,
for me, this is fantastic news! [:D][^][G][Y] I am so looking forward to owning some of the new extended libraries now. This is wonderful!
thanks again Herb and everyone in VSL!
best,
Steve [:D] [8][<:o)]

I’m not clear on how to qualify for the free instrument. The offer say standard OR extended. Does that mean that the 3 cannot be a combination of standard and extended?
Hi Bill,
if you have any wishes mixing standard and extended products to be elegible for a free product please contact our sales support
Generally it will be OK. The most important rule is, that you can't get a free Full product if you order for example two Standard an one Extended library. Only one free Standard or one free Extended download product will be possible in this case.
To get a free Full product needs a purchase of 3 Full download products. (also six Standard or Extended libraries would be OK)

Hooray for VSL! I've been asking for this for a long time. It's great to see VSL listening to their customers. So, thank you!
About the free download instruments offer:
I understood it like this: I buy 3 instruments (let's say Flute 1 extended, Clarinet Bb extended, Epic Horns extended) and get a fourth one of my choosing for free. (let's say French Oboe extended)
Someone in the vi-control forum understood it like this: I choose 3 instruments and only need to pay for two of those (which ones i can choose myself)
Which one is right?
One more thing: The DVD Collections discount detail page doesn't show any discounts for extended download instruments. Am i right to assume that it will stay this way because of issues with resellers?

XXL TAM-TAM ..... Extended Library: 40 Euros. Nothing listed in the Extended Library Content box.... Is this a misprint? 😊
The Elements instruments were the last instruments added to our download instrument section. We will add the information asap.
Sorry for the oversight, it´s been a little hectic!
Best,
Paul
Will you guys have updated manuals in the user download section soon? I'd like to see the specifics on the updated versions before upgrading. Thanks.
This is great news - a way to get stopped horns and muted Tuba without getting the full Brass1 library....
However before I go ahead, following me getting a bunch of download brass just before Dimension brass was announced... could VSL confirm whether there are any plans for a muted dimension brass or Full muted brass library in the near future?
Steve
I worded the post wrong. When I look at the amount for the basic download, not the extended, it's still showing full price even though I already have that. I understand that I would pay full price for the extended part. Shouldn't it show $0 for the basic download as I already have it?
Jim
OK, I see. If you are logged in, all the download libraries where you already have registered a standard library should only offer you the "extended buy button" (the "full buy button" should be greyed out). At least this is the behaviour on my account. This setup should prevent you for erroneous paying twice for the standard content.
Is this different at your desk?
