  • [SOLVED] VI Pro fails to see my matrices.

in addtion, what the manual indicates regarding VE Pro will ask about loading extant VI as VI Pro, is not true here.

    Not pleased by this.

    1. Have you copied your matrices over to the correct location?
    2. I think that this feature is planned for an update.

  • I have them where VI in VE Pro and/or all my projects know to find them, but I think I've moved from the default, so 'correct', probably not. It seems like I saw it addressed, to narrow down directories was the thrust here or something. It seems like the original location was in the shared folder under OSX. Is that info in the manual? .

  • OK, VI Pro has introduced a fixed location for Custom matrices. If you can't find the instructions in the manual, I would suggest creating a new "test" matrix, see where it is stored and then copy your custom ones to the same location.

    Hi Gianna,

the info about the location of the Custom Data Folder is in the VI PRO manual on pages 5/6.

  • yeah, apparently.

I found the empty VSL folder in 'users\shared', and that is the 'correct' one.

    Thanks!
