Heya,
no idea if the directory structure is anything like on the PC, but when I installed cubase 5 on my computer, I had to add my "old" VstPlugins folder to the plugins folders.
Cheers

very interesting, found the plugin map and it does contain the viennaInstruments.vst + the HALion map, so this is kinda weird to me, because HALion works perfectly and Vienna Instruments still does not.
I found that the actual files that were installed from the Vienna DVD's (special edtion 001 - special edition 113) are recognized as .dat-files, could it be it has something to do with this??? Those files were stored in my Documentsmap, just like the HALion-files.
Hello everybody,
I´m using Cubase on OS X all the time, have not had any trouble with the installation of any version.
Just to make sure: You are using the latest versions of the Syncrosoft LCC and the VSL Software, right?ett
Could you send a crashlog to support (at) vsl (dot) co (dot) at?, so that we can take a look at this?
The more information and screenshots you can include, the better, of course!
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Milo.
I had the very same problem. Brand new macbook pro, cubase 5, the very latest vienna instruments software and syncrosoft LCC, m-audio profire610.
Try updating the plug in information in cubase.. Devices menu, plug in information, update
Vlenna instruments should then be listed and you should then find it in vst instruments.
I had to turn off and turn back on the profire610 as all audio was lost in cubase.
All seems fine now.
Hope this helps!
Steve.
