If you're downloading the library then what are you actually trying to get. IF it's the VI player .. or the VE, then you just have to look around the user area for the Vienna Instruments tab .. at the top. So what are you after?

Hi Hetoreyn, thanx for the reply. I'm trying to get the VI player but in the software section of the user area I can only read this: "Depending on your purchased or registered products there are now files available for you in this category". For the record I've already registered both the library and the usb key

Hi Paul, yes, i'm using that link but there aren't files to download. Everything is ok: I've downloaded the library, the manuals, I've registered the usb dongle (it's a Steiberg branded Syncrosoft key) but the VI player doesn't show up where it should.

Herb, thanks for the quick reply. I'm planning to purchase other (and bigger) libraries so, to introduce me (in a cheaper way) into the Vienna Intruments world, I decided to get the Upright first. Hope to enjoy it soon. Cheers, Gaetano

It was a little difficult for me too to find the section where to download the stuff but thanks to Christian's quick response, I was up and running in minutes yesterday. Terrific Upright Bass guys! I love it!!! It works beautifully with the VSL saxes (still my favorite instrument from Vienna SE funny enough). I threw a little Space Designer on it, added some brush kit from Logic 8 Studio and I was in jazz heaven! Love this new way of getting sounds! BTW- will we always have a link to the downloaded files we have purchased in case our HD blows up or fails. I have had 2 external HD's give up the ghost and I was not too happy about all of the music files I lost so I worry about this. I suppose I could burn a DVD copy of the files mind you.
