I'm almost convinced that is a Sonar 4 bug...
Does anyone have the same configuration working correctly with another sequencer (Cubase, etc.)?

Well, I'd have to disagree. I used Sonar for years, but once I started up with Cubase (Nuendo), I never looked back.@dunk187 said:
Roger,
Cubase isn't better than Sonar at all. They do the same thing.

Hi rogeriodec,
Don't know if this comes to you to late...but...I've figured out how to bounce vsl via performance tool in sonar.
Let me know if you need this info....works great, no bugs (have to use slow bounce) I have sonar 4 studio ed.
Hi rogeriodec,
Should work fine - it has for me so far - if you need more configuration info like inputs/outputs for individual tracks let me know...I wish all this had been in a manual somewhere as I'm sure you do!
All the best.....
I should mention...when I used fast bounce I was getting dropouts which may have nothing to do with sonar (or may) i don't know....I also have to use slow bounce with virtual grand piano. My sample library is on an external drive, maybe this is why i have to use slow bounce...don't know.
Maybe you'll be able to use fast bounce with your system and the above configuration i gave in the earlier reply...
