  • Repetition tool question...

    Hi,

I love the results I'm geting from repetition tool, my question is this:

Is there a way to reduce a number of sequences when in chained mode?

Right now it is just cycling trough all 12 of them...

I know I can reset it with a keyswitch, but Im wondering if I can do it without that?

    thanks,

    Alex

  • I guess I was smelling bad, since no one wanted to talk in my topic...
So I took a shower and I smell like a flower..so please do come in it's safe now..LOL

I'm getting better and better results with repetition....I have to offset tracks quite a bit here and there to make different sections in sync..
and I still get kind of incosistent feel from it...almost like the perf tool glitches here and there, thus making the line tottaly off beat some times..

    I work on one machine...

sonar in maple in perf tool in GS160...

    140BPM...

    Nice smelling Alex[:)]

  • Sorry, that I missed your posting, Lex.

    Repetition tool - chain mode:

At the moment you can only use the "chain mode" going through the whole tool setup.

If you need, for example a chain setting which is already covered by using three preset lines, you could set all other lines to cero.
(Tip: shift mouce click on the repetition count of the first line you won't use, than setting the repetition count to minimum = 2, now you don't have to set so much values to cero)

If you like to change between "Chain mode" active and non active, you have to use two midichannels assigned to the same repetition instrument.

Maybe it is also a good solution, to make different chain mode presets.
I think, it is less work to setup different instrument parameters, than chain settings with 12x12 values.

    best wishes
