I had this same error before updating from 5.0.5.0 to 5.2.6.2

I found an older installer, and removed it. I decided to reinstall the software, which went fine. When I tried to install AP strings...same error message. I checked for ViennaInstruemnts.dll and nothing came up. As I have stated, the License Control software is current. I downloaded that from the website.
I searched for the Library Installer again...the date showing is 9/25/06. I had deleted the old one, and reinstalled the software from the disc that was packaged with the Bosendrofer.

I tried installing the AP strings on my other computer. I got the same error message. I used latest version of the software from the website. The version on the Bosendorfer package should have worked, or at least be good enough. Can someone please find out what is happening? Perhaps someone could talk to the software developer and ask him why that message was put there in the first place?

I thought I would try to install again. I am getting the same error message: The Following Licences are needed to install this package: Appassionata Strings I Basic.
Does anyone have any new information? Has the software developer been contacted? If the library installer is too old, can someone send me that separatly?

have you got any screenshots to paul already? if not, it would be helpful to see a) license control center showing ViennaKey# and licenses of collections which do not install b) errormessage of installer c) standalone player showing some patches

The AP violins are installing. I seemed to fixed the problem.
I updated the Syncrosoft software on my music computer. So, the lesson is: Update the softeware on *both* computers. I thought the software only needed to be updated on a system that is connected to the internet for downloading the newer licences. I thought the key took care of everything else once the information was on there. I guess not...
If there are any problems with the Bosendorfer, I will let you know.
