    I have a G5 Dual 2.0 with 3GB of ram is that enough to run Chamber Strings VI?

    Also, are must users buying the extended lib, as well?

    Thanks for the reply. Tell me... are the demos for Chamber Strings V.I. utilizing the full lib. or the standard? It would be cool to hear what the standard lib. is capable of, by itself. (That may not be the best way to market, but it would be helpful to buyers...more specifically, me!) [:D]

    Anyway, I love the sound of these strings. I own other popular collections, but none this inspiring.

    Hi mojamusic,

    the demos for Chamber Strings were made with the Full Library. You will get very far with the Standard Library alone, but of course there are some very nice patches waiting for your in the Extended Library.
    For a detailed list of the articulations contained in Standard/Extended Library please have a look at the overview of Standard/Extended Library on the left hand side of the product shot.

    When you install the basic library, you get to demo the extended library for about a week. If you like it, you can always upgrade and unlock those samples because they're already installed.

    in some cases the 180 starts demo mode for all (VSL-)applications, which comes with every new ViennaKey, is only enough for a few days ... you can request a 30 days / 30 starts demo mode for each extended library if you like to check it out over a longer period. this so-called date-license allows 30 starts, after they are used up you can *reload* another 30 starts within 30 days from downloading such a license using your license control center.

    If you play with the sounds you will want to purchase them. If you don't want to spend any more money, do not even test them out. [:D]

    I like the idea of mixing the Solo Strings with the Chamber Strings. I want to try to slightly detune the Solo String patches to emulate "individual expression" (or random pitch variance) that you might find in jazz or soul arrangements. Do you think that would work?
