Just a thought... It strikes me that it would be extremely useful if the performance tool would respond to a controller or keyswitch to temporarily bypass the legato/repetition/alternation modes (whatever's loaded in the channel), another to toggle back again. Would certainly cut down on extra midi tracks.
Would this sort of thing be hard to implement??...
