  • Key switches don´t want to work ?

Would someone please be so kind as to tell me what I´m doing wrong, I have seldom used this software since puchase. I have in the matrix two patches 1 is Vln Sus Vib and in the next box to the right I have Vln staccato. In the control edit box (H-Span) I have C1 and C#1 and the corresponding keyswitch notes in cubase at the appropriate points with a high velocity to be sure the message goes through but mostly nothing happens, I say mostly because strangely enough it sometimes works??
Please somebody offer me a tip or two thanks.

  • Hi Chris
I've got your message via my hompage. But I'm not able to send you an answer because the server tells me, that it is not possible to send my answer. Anyway I'm going to make a PM via VSL.

    Chris,
There are two systems of midi-norms I believe. One is the Roland-Midi-Norm and the other one is those from Yamaha. Perhaps the companies are not the two mentioned but anyway the two norms exist. They are quite equal but they differ in some small things like the indication of the midi notes.
A lot of words > a short solution.

C1 in VI means C0 in Cubase
C0 in VI means C-1 in Cubase

    All the best

Thanks Beat Kaufmann for this tip.
I had just the same problem, but now it works.
