  • no. i'm not registered right now and can't. It elapses over a period of time I guess. Problem is the politicians in this country are incredibly screwed up people. Hillary Clinton for president in '08? Has she a sincere bone in her body? - no.

But Dave - she has a face like a pussy-cat. She will be the first lady American President.

  • Paul, I want you to go to your local priest and repent of that thought. There are evil thoughts you know.

SvK Don't get me wrong: I consider voting to be a high and noble excercise. Too many people have died to preserve that right for me to be dismissive of it in any way. My concience will not allow me to vote for people that are two sides of the same coin. The last presidential election offered John Kerry and George Bush, neither of which I could have voted for. I tend to vote against certain candidates anyway to keep out the worse of the two.

You're right: people should vote for all the various local civil issues and indeed nationally. As I said my registration lapsed or I probabably would have voted. That still doesn't change the bizarre crowd that occupy much of politics and are not engendering any confidence among the voting public.[/i]

No - it's true. Great place and they do great lunches at a very reasonable prices. It's like being on the set of the Da Vinci Code.
