I did conduct once with a Light Sabre, but went back to the regular baton after the overture, as everything was far too slow..!

In the lenght and resolution (320x240) as the example posted, I think it would cost at least 5000.-- Euro when made by our film production studio.

However, this films are normally made by kids with the LEGO Studio Movie Maker Set. My son has one of this packages and tons of Lego material and was very enthusiastic about it. See for example here:

  • Felix, I thought about your idea for making a promo film for yourself with Lego figures, I think it's not a good idea for a composer.

But making a short documentary would be.

  • Hi Angelo,

how old is your son? Is he a genius or just an old boy still playing with lego?
ThatĀ“s really good stuff. And hard for me to imagine, that itĀ“s done by a kid.

Anyway thanks for the hint. Concening the promo movie, I still think it could be a good promotion having a funny story with lego animations and put professional music under it, cause in my opinnion this could bring out the music even more. But this should not be subjekt of this thread.

  • Too bad you can't download the movie .. I like having little things like this on my HD to play now and again. Like the 'World of Porncraft" video (Damned hilarious if you haven't seen it [:P]). But still, brilliantly done. ... But I'm not quite sure Darth got the down beat right on that last .... ack! (Clutches throat after asserting a disturbing lack of faith!).

Oh, sorry that my colorful titling made the impression that my thirteen year old son made this Star War Lego movie, no, he did not. I don't know how made this little film.

It could be that it is a promo made by the Lego Company
