    Sorry if this is a redundant question, but I don't see any search engine for the forums (is there one?).

    Are Vienna Instruments compatible with Macs? I'm not familiar enough with VIs to even know what kind of files they are.

    Yes, VI is compatible with Mac & PC. The sample files are proprietary and run on the VI player, which works on Mac & PC.

    regarding the search menu .... sorry, we obviously have a little bug currently on the forum page .... after clicking top-level menu *forum* (there is no second level neu) you only see START on the left side. clicking START once displays all menus ... we'll try to fix it asap

    alternatively you can use http://forum.vsl.co.at (no site-navigation at all) and get a search menu on top of the page
