well, it's delicate to even talk about that and i doubt this guy is really a mac-user, but he is obviously right with some arguments.
the first thing i did after i read the G5 is out, i went to the apple-shop and started to configure a machine (as i did when the x-serve came out)
hmm, ended up (just with the memory) near $ 7.000.- and didn't have a single SCSI-controller or disk - that's inacceptable for me.
i've made any effort to get my hand on that legendary photoshop-tests over years to run them by myself - i've never been successfull, nobody seems to have them and it seems they never have been published.
let's see, what real-life experiences turn up to give us - btw: does anybody have a link to a 64-bit soundcard besides the one from SGI (which of course only has drivers for IRIX and NT/W2K)?
