    This can be an absolute pain, as some of the editing length-wise is not quite what it should be. If you find that certain notes stick out, then switch to a regular note and then switch back again.

    let me post this example to make the problem clearer

    please try to listen closely to the first bar. it sounds perfect
    in the second bar, although its the same midi information, the last note sounds somewhat like a double note, in the third bawr its the one before the last...
    i suppose that's got something to do with the repetition samples going wrong, or simply not starting from the beginning again, even when there's a short break

    I agree and you will have to use a workaround. One thought. What happens if you re-trigger the keyswitch for the matrix concerned? Does it start from the beginning again?

    i haven't tried retriggering the whole matrix, but retriggering the specific cell in the matrix won't do the trick

    If that doesn't work then duplicate the matrix and trigger them alternately. What a kludge... [[:|]]

    No, but I've just tried it and it doesn't seem to work anyway. I would suggest using a regular staccato for the first note of each repeat and then switch for the second note. That way you will always get the same repeated notes for each group. Sorry not to be able to solve your problem, but I mentioned this months ago and the powers that be didn't seem to think that it was a big problem.

    ah here, workaround
    i just slowed down the piece and made the repetitions even faster
    this way the problem doesn't come to attention that much [:)]
    i just need to look out for something to make the next part fit in better

    Why don't you just do the workaround suggested and do a quick keyswitch back and forth so that it starts again?
