Sustain issues and DP....

Just got VI Symphonic Cube (Extended) and love it! AWESOME! In my transition from Giga to this, I've loaded the string library onto my main Computer (a Mac G5 Dual 2 Gig) and I've run into 2 problems:

1. The patches default as if the sustain pedal is "on". In other words, I have to press my sustain pedal to release or "cut" the notes off. Basically, it's acting the opposite of what it should be doing. (hope that makes some sense)

2. I added the "Appassionate Strings" and new "Choir", did the "Directory Manager" routine but they don't show up when I open the VI AU in Digital Performer. Is there something I'm not doing that I should be?

just discovered that you have to "re-boot" the computer in order for the new libraies to show up...

All i need to figure out now is the "sustain" issue...any ideas?

dear rob, on a mac - better: on OS X - you should reboot everytime you change something on a system related to a running process.
reason is that UNIX-like systems keep running processes in memory, even if the underlying information has changed.
therefore we decided to also recommend a reboot before and after you update software.
