    This has probably already been covered but I haven't seen it.

    As I use a lot of alternate staccatos and divisi for the legato tool, I am starting to bump against the limits of one port (yea windows 98!). I tried to get 2 ports going at once but I get the response it is unavailable. I of course have turned off that port in giga. Is it me or is that the current limit?

    Hello Craig,

    if you open a second instance of the Performance Tool, you get a message, that this port is not available. The tool is simply opened using the same port, as your first already active instance.

    Just ignore this message, and set the new instance on a different port.

    The only restriction is, that you cant save the tool with different port settings. It's a windows related problem, resently discussed here.

    So if you work with multiple instances you have to set the midi port every time, when you open the 2nd instance.
