    Any suggestions on how to keep my volume levels consistent. I'm using DP and everytime I rewind my sequence back to the beginning, the volume goes back to its default setting of 100 (i'm guessing) in the VSL VI. What are others doing to work around this?

    I find myself always pushing the fader up on my controller to raise the volume.

    You might want to put in your own default volume (7) cc# at the beginning of each MIDI track to lock down your start volume preferences.

    Why does it reset itself without provocation? That is a very good question.

    DP can do that so the best bet is to pencil in Volume (CC#7) or record it with slider to the volume you want and make sure midi automation is enabled ('ato' column in tracks window is set to "play" which shows a blue arrow when on)
