    Hello!
    May be somebody get the same problem?
    Performance tool-1-repetition... and don't see nothing in windows under Keyswich all lines are white! No blue. So I don't see any numbers!
    What may be problem?

    i know about three times this effect appeared, one could be solved in this topic, whereas in the other cases it turned up, the system showed first signs of corruption and died some weeks later. you didn't mention your system - XP, 2K, ?

    I work with XP.
    Of coarse, I read all topics before asking...
    I didn't found solution changing *Selected Items* color...
    On my first comp with seqwensor(the same XP) all OK.
    Only on 2nd comp with GIGA clean install I see nothing...

    Select Properties, then Appearance, then Advanced, and finally the drop-down menu that probably says "desktop" when you start. Go down to Selected Items and change the color.

    Great tip! This was bothering me too.

    For me it doesn't work.
    It may help when You don't see active note, the note when You are playing.
    But my problem is what the font and background have the same color, and I simple don't see nothing in in thise lines...
    When I play, yes I see blue flash on active notes...

    vitaly, then i can only recommend consider reinstalling your OS. btw, in both cases (of a finally crashing system) a midisport-interface has been involved - what are you using?

    ps: you mentioned to have searched the forum before - in case you have overlooked it: there is no color set within the code of the tool, so if you only see white letters on white background and the windows-colors don't influence it, there must be a severe bug in your system.

    What interesting with all other programs all color schemes it works!
    Windows, Giga, Matrox power desk, mia console all work fine.
    More. I tried installing midi tool on seven other computers! On two of them I sow blue lines and on five others only white lines!
    I think something wrong with code of program.
    The blue color in midi tool is non standard windows color, and if windows doesn't see custom color by default it show it white.
    Change color inside program it's about five minutes. Try it!
    PS. I'm musician, but all these ideas came from my friends professional programmists.

    interesting to hear a matrox is involved - has also been in both mentioned cases. i had a G550 in the computer and IIRC matt too - on my computer there was a small blue line within the border of the text-box.
    rereading the posts i see the problem (which could be soved) has been with highlighting and not with the background.
    of course it will need only five minutes to change the color, then recompile it, create a new installer, zip it, test it, ... if the problem persists, i'll ask the programmer of our tool to do it (he mentioned to make the background adjustable in a later version). unfortunately there is no windows-default-color left, which you could select in *appearance*, so a module for color-picking would have to be attached.

    It's no matox foult. Because on my comp with logic I have matrox too.
    But the same problem I see in comuters with Gforthe...
    So I'm waiting new version, You know. to pay $3100 and don't have possibility to work...
    Please, drop line when new version is out...
    And one more thing.
    May be You can tell me what exactly color is in background. It's there is option add same color with any aplication and windows can see it.

    i think as background-color the blue of the windows-desktop has been chosen - it shows up as #006DD6 in my colorpicker

    Today I check midi tool on more three computers!
    No blue background in windows...
    It's bag!
    Please, do something as possible faster.
    Simple impossible to work!
