  • BPM - Beat's Percussion Music

Beat Kaufmann did it again, and sent us five new fantastic percussion demos.
Again you will find useful informations in the tutorial downloads of each demo.

    Beat That!

Exclusively programmed with VSL Vienna Instruments Percussion using more than 25 different percussion instruments

    Beat:
I’ ve recorded a street band during carnival with my mobile phone. Now I tried to copy the rhythem which wasn’t very easy because of the phone’s sound quality.
Anyway I’ m quite happy with the result ...

    Wilhelm Tell
    http://www.vsl.co.at/Player2.aspx?Lang=13&DemoId=4906

Rossinis famous overture arranged for mallet instruments.
I wouldn't be surprised if we will hear this arrangement performed by live musicians in the near future.

And finally three groovy demos for marimba, vibes and xylophone.

  • Hi Beat,

Enjoyed listening! Is the guitar the Vienna concert guitar?

    Best,
    Jay

  • Beat, respect for the William Tell piece - very nicely done and great interpretation, very enjoyable. I also enjoyed a lot the percussion piece. Great mixes on those two as well, the reverb works wonderfully. One can really hear your musical heritage and as well your love of music in all the work you do and it's something very pleasant and enjoyably to hear.

    Many Thanks,
    Miklos.

It is Hypersonic2's (Steinberg) "nylon guitar H2".

    All the best

    Hello Miklos
Thank you for praising me and my works to the skies [[;)]]. Nevertheless I'm pleased about it. I'll do it for you another time because you've done a lot for VSL as well.

    All the best
