  • Orchestral Strings I- articulations missing in Standard lib?

    Hello:

I noticed that when I compared your list of articulations on your website for the Standard library (Orchestral Strings I), with the actual articulations available when
I open the VI, there seems to be a discrepancy.

According to your website, Long Detache is included in the Standard Orchestral Strings I, but when I open the VI, Long Detache is marked as L2. I'm assuming this means that it's only available in the extended library. This patch is extremely important, so Im hoping that it is in fact available in the Standard library.

Also, why does it seem that there are MANY more patches available in the extended library than in the Standard. It seems that the ratio is easily 2 to 1 (Extended patches versus Standard). Granted it is about $100.00 more than the Standard library but the differences do not seem porportional. Am I missing something?

    Thanks,

    Tom

  • Sorry, the long detaches articulations is listed by mistake at the violins sections. We'll correct this.

The sample amount difference between Standard and Extended can be easy compared if you look at the sample figures of each product on the product page. There are three columnes: Standard, Extended, and summary of both.
The ration between Standard and Extended varies form 1:2 to 1:4.

The standard library is a compilation of the most important patches.

The price calculation of the Standrad library is assembling software developement, duplication costs, distributor margins and sample productions costs.
The Extended library costs are more or less exclusively based on sample production costs.
