I've worked with VSL for two years now, from First Edition through VI. But it's always been under the hood of Giga and EXS, or VI as a Logic plug-in. I know very little about VST's on PC's.
The goal is to run numerous VI's on my PC with channel selection.
1. What (if any) are the front-running alternatives to V-Stack on PC?
2. Does V Stack (or any other host) offer basic convolution reverb? (I have no reverb other than Space Designer and Gigapulse.)
3. V Stack is not expensive, but before I buy on line from Steinberg, can it be found cheaper anywhere else? I don't mind waiting for the CD. I'm seeing it listed at 59 USD, but that's retail. I've hit three major retailers, and none of them show it.
