  • little bug report

If you double-click a folder in the directory view, i.e. to open a folder, it will mistakenly think you're assigning a matrix/patch to the selected cell. It doesn't actually have a matrix/patch to enter, since you only double-clicked a folder, so it enters a blank cell, deleting whatever was previously held in that cell. With no "undo" function, this can be intensely annoying. The only way one should be able to enter an empty cell (which can be handy!) should be by double-clicking/entering the little "X" for "no matrix" or "no patch".

[EDIT] - Sorry, it's actually matrices that are being deleted/overwritten, not cells.

  • ...I would have thought this would at least get a little "okay, we'll look into it". I'm sure it's not a feature.

Anyway, I just wanted to try to rejunivate this bug report and also mention that it would be oh so wonderful if the "Please wait, loading data..." could be pushed to the back, rather than always forcing it's way to the front. There's a _lot_ I could get done while the samples for a big project are busy loading.

Please, please, please. I mean, I know this needs to wait for another incremental upgrade, but please let me know whether you will at least consider the idea; I think it's a _very_ good one.
