I bought a serie of VInstuments and it's a great pleasure to ear the sounds. I just want to suggest you to imagine an external midi controller (hardware) to be substituted to keyswitch. It could be more comfortable to have a set of buttons (with possibly a LCD on each one where we could load the signification for each matrix) and a modwhelle too..
If others customers have the same dream... [*-)]: [*-)]:

  • Hi..

While its a nice idea, VSL have said they wish to remain a software company. So I dont think its very likely.

  • I woudn't think it likely either...HOWEVER, great idea, and I've seen it in action.

I think it's just a matter of getting a MIDI board with a bunch of assignable buttons, setting up keyswitches for each button, then customizing your instruments...a lot of work up front, but you could really speed up the keyswitching process.

I, unfortunately, am still putting a lot of keyswitches manually into my sequencer...just can't seem to do it well in real time....any hints out there on how y'all are doing switches?
