Okay. Sorry, I had a job fixing Macs for a while last year, and we always used "see" to mean System Profiler (often the quickest way of spotting a hardware problem).

Anyway, I'm really sorry I couldn't help. If I think of anything else I'll get back to you.

I'm watching this with interest and fear! I also have a 9636 card, with v1.2a and I have never had clicks and pops. Now I'm worried about moving to OS10.4.7....

I do have DIGI settings v1.4 but also found that it would never launch. I just checked and I actually have 2 files in System/Library/Extensions:
digi96.kext
digi9652.kext

Remarkably, I appear to be running the new .kext file with the old Settings app!! Maybe that's the secret..... (I'm not changing anything....it works)

By the way, I had an old revision card and had to modify it for my G5. All working perfectly though.

I have to do some weird stuff with my hdsp hammerfall's on my mac you have to run the configuration utility every time you start up or start up a a new digital input. It has to resync. And no audio program can be open while you do this. I set my mac to autosync although it is the master because for whatever reason thats the only way it works with no pops.
