  • Where is the multitimbral VI

I've read that the percussion VI should be multitimbral, but it's not the case.
When do you planned to release it ?

  • Bump [:D]

  • Was it ever confirmed? I just recall speculation...

Personaly I dont think its so big a problem that its not multi-timbral. The mapping of the patches are however. If they were done larger, then the timbral thing wouldn't be a problem since the VI is so damn CPU efficient! [H]

  • Open more VI ??

Yes, but it use about 15/16Mb for each instance.
Sometime you need to open one VI for a small sound, and you reach a case where the VI use more ram than the sound itself..... [*-)]

It's easy to have more than 10 VI opened for the percussions...about 150Mb wasted...

The best thing to do is build up your own instruments, so that you only have as many VIs open as players that you are writing for.
